John Darley is an outstanding artist working in Utah, in the United States. He specialises in the ancient art of Egg Tempera painting. His expertly crafted paintings resemble the intricacy of embroidery and the voluminous 3 dimensionality of the old masters. I've been blown away by Johns art ever since finding him on Instagram. This was a great discussion into what it takes to be an artist working in 2024, with all the business stuff you'll no doubt love, but also plenty of shop talk too! Patrick Okrasinski is painting up a storm! His work is fresh and vibrant and reminiscent of the old masters who captured the landscape from life. Born in 1996, in New York City, Patrick was exposed to masters from the start; heavily inspired by the Hudson River School and greats like Bierstadt. We had a great conversation here all about En Plein Air, art school and the business side of art too! Patrick is going from strength to strength artistically and gaining the attention from thousands worldwide who follow him on social media. You need to follow him too!

Robert Bateman is a renowned Canadian artist, naturalist, and environmentalist. He is particularly well-known for his realistic depictions of wildlife and nature, often rendered in exquisite detail. Bateman's paintings often convey a deep reverence for the natural world and serve as a means to raise awareness about conservation issues. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards and honors for his contributions to wildlife art and conservation efforts. Bateman's work has been widely exhibited and published, making him one of Canada's most celebrated artists. He's arguably the biggest name in wildlife art... EVER. On a personal note, this interview was HUGE for me. I'm talking to one of my childhood heroes. I never thought I'd get this chance, so please excuse a few nerves along the way!

Pavel Sokov is an incredibly talented Impression-realism painter from Russia who is known for his attention to detail portraying interesting characters. From Arnie, Ethiopian stick-dancers to his portraits bring out raw inspiration and detail. He goes into how his dealings with Arnold Schwarzenegger, his trip to Ethiopia and more of his painting process and mindset. I had a great time with Pavel, you're in for an interesting conversation!

Maria Brophy has been the art agent for her husband, Drew Brophy, for many years. She started a blog in response to the many art-business emails she received, this grew into releasing a fantastic book on the Art Business called "Art, Money & Success". I loved catching up with Maria in round two on TheCreativeEndeavour Podcast! We talked about the struggle her and Drew faced during the lock-downs, challenges of the art business, finding balance as an artist and much more. This was such an amazing experience and I found myself writing notes on the awesome tips she has for art business.
Maria has not only had a massive impact on the art world, but on me personally. I look forward to seeing where her journey takes her in the future!

I had the pleasure of interviewing the fantastic Michelle Dunaway in this episode! Michelle is a full time artist based in New Mexico, she captures the essence of the subject in her breath-taking portraits and figurative works with a distinctive loose-style. We talked about some of her current projects such as the Falconeer and her Africa workshop. We then went into talking about her favorite influences, painting the essence of someone's portrait and more! I'll definitely be bringing Michelle back on for round 2!
